Punjab University signs MoU with Arizona State University

PULahore: Punjab University and Arizona State University (ASU), USA Monday signed a MoU to promote academic exchange, faculty exchange and cooperation in teaching and research between the both universities. A ceremony was held in Committee Room of Vice Chancellor’s Office.

PU VC Dr Mujahid Kamran, ASU Religious Studies Assistant Professor Dr Chad Haines, ASU Cronkite School of Journalism Director Global Programs Dr B William Silcock, Associate Dean Kristin Gilber, Registrar Prof Dr Liaqat Ali, Dean Faculty of Behavioral & Social Sciences Prof Dr Zakria Zakar, Dr Rubina Zakir, Director External Linkages Dr Maria Maldonado, In-charge Institute of Communication Studies Dr Noshina Saleem and Shabbir Sarwar were present on the occasion.

The participants discussed various areas of mutual interest and stressed the need to enhance academic relations between the two institutions. The exchange program is for Institute of Social and Cultural Studies (ISCS) and Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) of Punjab University.

Later, the visiting delegation has separate meeting with faculty of PU ICS and ISCS.
