Former PML-N MPA Ajasam Sharif joins PTI

Lahore: Former PML-N MPA Ajasam Sharif and his father a close associate of PM Nawaz Sharif have decided to join PTI. He will make announcement in the presence of chairman Imran Khan who will visit his residence today in the evening.

Ajasam Sharif served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07 and returned to Punjab Assembly for the second consecutive term in general elections 2008. He also served as Parliamentary Secretary: Excise & Taxation and as a Member of Special Committee-II, Special Committee No. 24. In elections 2013 ,PML-N preferred Majid Zahoor upon him who is current MPA from the said constituency .

Ajasam Sharif ,father Haji Muhammad Sharif remained Member of Punjab Assembly during 1990-93 and 1997-99.He was the close associate of the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

Ajasam Sharif said that they left the party with broken heart as he belonged to Muslim Leagui family but can not bear leadership ignorance anymore.
