PTI asks IGP to provide security to its under threat leaders

PTI asks IGP to provide security to its under threat leadersLahore: PTI asks IGP to provide security to its under threat leaders including Aleem Khan.In a letter to IG Punjab Mushtaq Sukhera, provincial organizer Ch Muhammad Sarwar said that police should increase the security for all PTI offices.

Subject: Urgent Security Required                                                            

Honourable Sir,

This is to inform you, that PTI Candidate Mr Aleem Khan has been under threat, we had earlier requested to increase the security for all PTI offices.
Mr. Aleem Khan Office, 18-D-1 Main Gulberg, needs special attention with at least 2 uniformed Police Constable and the relevant Police Station should keep a vigilant security.
The other campaign office at, Crown Cinema, Allama Iqbal Road, Garhi Shahu Chowk, should be given immediate importance for security. This office will require.

  • At least 4 special branch officers for main gate
  • We require walk through gate with metal detectors
  • For inside premises 4 armed constable in uniform

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf

Earlier,Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Punjab organiser Chaudhary Mohammad Sarwar has has said that the Election Commission of Pakistan seems to be “facilitating”  PML-N in its nefarious plans of rigging in the upcoming by-election and local bodies’ elections. He termed rigging as “state terrorism”.

Taking strict notice of PTI workers’ harassment by police, Chaudhary Sarwar warned the Punjab government that the police should be asked to avoid harassing its workers otherwise the PTI would besiege the office of IG Police. He said the Punjab government was giving away millions of rupees funds to its people and wondered whether there was no one take notice of the situation.

He said the demand for Rangers and NAB operation against those committed corruption was actually a voice of the people. He said it was high time that across the board accountability be conducted so that the country could look towards progress and prosperity.

Chaudhary Sarwar was addressing public meetings in NA-122’s Mozang, Samanabad and Garhi Shahu on Tuesday. PTI Punjab deputy organiser Umer Sarfraz Cheema, MPA Mian Aslam Iqbal, candidates Abdul Aleem Khan, Shoaib Siddiqui and others were present on the occasion.  Chaudhary Sarwar said party chairman Imran Khan had represented the whole nation while demanding Rangers and NAB operation against corrupt in Punjab. He said the time had come that the corrupt should be “hanged upside down at Bhatti Chowk”.

He said the problems like load-shedding, price-hike and joblessness could not be resolved without eliminating corruption and corrupt. World over, he said, decision were taken on the basis of people’s votes but in Pakistan decisions were taken on the basis of rigged elections and undermining the people’s wishes. He said the rigging had assumed the shape of a state terrorism and added that it’s elimination could help establish real democracy in the country.

Umer Sarfraz Cheema and Mian Aslam Iqbal said the PML-N was dying its political death. They said the incubent rulers would be sent behind the bars, whenever free and fair accountability would be held. They said the PTI would continue its struggle against corrupt and rescue the country from the clutches of corruption and other menaces.
