Pakistani leadership condoles on crane accident in Makkah

crane accident in MakkahLahore: President Mamnoon Hussain, PML-Q president Ch Shujaat Hussain,former deputy prime minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi ,Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif,MQM Rabita Committee,PTI chairman Imran Khan and others have expressed sorrow over crane accident in Makkah.

The Pakistani leadership while expressing deep sense of sorrow and grief over the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of intending pilgrims in crane accident said that he is deeply shocked over this incident.

At least 87 people have died after a crane collapsed on the Grand Mosque of Makkah on Friday. According to Saudi Interior Ministry, at least 184 more people were injured in the incident.

The tragedy comes ahead of the annual Hajj pilgrimage which is due later this month. Millions of Muslims from around the world will converge on the holy city between September 21-26.

Local media reports suggested that the accident occurred due to heavy rains the Kingdom.
