Photo CPE 01 {Sep10-15}Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has said electricity is not produced by making misleading announcements and installing income yielding plants, the rulers should not waste hard earned money of the nation, admission of generation of only 18 megawatt of electricity after spending billions of rupees on different projects is quite shameful whereas 100 megawatt power plant run by furnace oil costing Rs 10 billion produces 85 megawatt of electricity, where is electricity produced by Nandipur, Chichoki Malian projects, Karachi like operation also needed in the Punjab.

He said this while addressing media conference after presiding over party organizing meeting at the Muslim League House here today. He said everything will become clear after Karachi like operation in the Punjab also that the ruling clique looted the country and the province with both hands forgetting the promises made to the people.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that Shahbaz Sharif has enmity with farmers, doctors, nurses, hospitals and 1122, he asked from the claimants of effecting saving of billions of rupees saved from Nandipur and solar projects as to where is that money, those who conferred Sitara-e-Imtiaz on Nandipur Power Project Director Mahmud did planning to run in on gas and then on furnace oil but electricity is not being produced, their claims and inefficiencies regrettable indeed, if loss is incurred due to wrong project then the wrongdoer will be guilty whosoever he may be, they are habitual of telling lies to the nation, sitting under Minar-e-Pakistan with hand fan he would say that electricity will be there in six months but even these claims of theirs also failed as Sasti Roti like projects.
