Punjab govt to declare Bhalwal Tehsil of Sargodha as district:Bhalwal Bar Association

Lahore: President Muhammad Yar Memorial Welfare Society (MYM) Shahzad Akhtar Ranjha Advocate in a meeting with lawyers of Bhalwal Bar Association has supported their demand for raising Bhalwal Tehsil of Sargodha as district.

He further proposed that a new civil division should be formed comprising district Bhalwal, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat and Hafizabad with its HQs at Mandi Bahauddin. He further called upon competent authorities that separate Lahore High Court Bench be established at Mandi Bahauddi for convenience of litigant public of the proposed division.

At this occasion members of local NGOs including Ex-Servicemen Society were also present who termed the demand as genuine feasible and supported it vehemently. They further asked Punjab Government to attach Mandi Bahauddin district with Rawalpindi Bench of Lahore High Court till this new proposal is accepted and materialized.
