Every hand heading towards Pakistan will be chopped off: Ch Shujaat Hussain

Photo CSH 01 {Sep06-15}Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain has said that Indian attack will be responded by the armed forces and people of Pakistan with the spirit and courage of 1965, every hand heading towards Pakistan will be chopped off. Pakistan can overcome its present difficulties and problems only with the role of a strong army, on Defence Day I salute those shuhda who laid down their lives in the defence and safeguarding of country’s frontiers, he added.

He was talking to media after laying wreath and offering fateha at the mazar of Lance Naik Mehfooz Shaheed Nishan-e-Haider in Mehfoozabad (Pind Malikan), a suburb village of Islamabad today. He was accompanied by Mohammad Basharat Raja and other PML leaders on this occasion.

Ch Shujat Hussain said that in every difficult time role of our armed forces has been very ideal, strong army is guarantee of strong Pakistan, there is no instance in any country of the world where own armed forces are subjected to criticism but our misfortune is that even the Defence Minister do not spare the army.

He said that the period through which the country is passing and problems we are facing, only strong army can rid us of these, dozens of incidents from Peshawar incident to Karachi incident can only be tackled by the army, with regard to the Defence Day today we should pledge that we have defend the motherland unitedly, armed forces of Pakistan which are guarantee of security of the country have to be strengthened and save it from every internal and external conspiracy, we will stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces of Pakistan against every conspiracy and together with the people every hand and tongue which threatens its honour and prestige will be cut down.

Imtiaz Ranjha and Raja Nasir were also in the delegation which accompanied the PML President.
