PML-Q delegation visits the memorials of Shuhada of 1965 war

Lahore: On behalf of Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi, Provincial General Secretary and former opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Ch Zaheeruddin Khan along with other party office-bearers and leaders visited the memorials of Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Nishan-e-Haider and other Shuhda of 1965 war, laid wreaths and offered fateha.

Afterwards talking to media along with Mian Mohammad Munir, MPA Khadeeja Umar Farooqui, Syeda Majida Zaidi, Amna Ulfat, Syed Biblal Mustafa Sheerazi, Tamkeen Aftab, Rana Muhammad Riaz, Parvaiz Michael, Ayesha Shaikh, Sameena Chaudhry, Liaquat Butt and other leaders, Ch Zaheeruddin Khan said that in the September War our biggest weapon was unity and national spirit, for building Pakistan we need to display the same national spirit and patriotism.

He said people of Pakistan are breathing in free airs today because of great sacrifices offered by the officers and jawans of Army, Navy and Air Force. He said that Pakistan is “amanat” of Shaheeds and Ghazis, every citizen should love it and value this land.

He said that the people have taken sigh of relief due to setting up of the military courts by the Armed Forces of Pakistan for dispensation of quick justice, nation believes that our armed forces are guarantee of national solidarity and stability.
