Lahore: The standard of training imparted at Sihala Training Center by the instructors is equally up to the international standards and the trainees of this center will be a very great and pleasant addition in Punjab police force.
This was stated by Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera while addressing a graceful ceremony held at CPO today in honor of Sihala instructors from 10 districts. Addl: IGP Training Punjab, Capt. (R), Usman Khattak, DIG Operations, Amir Zulfiqar, DIG Headquarters, Farooq Mazhar and other senior officers were also present on this occasion.
IGP told that under the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, arrangements regarding foreign training of 15 male and 15 female trainees who showed excellent performance during training is under process. Moreover, the instructors will be provided the substitute of big city allowance as requested by them on the occasion of passing out parade held at Sihala on 18th May 2015.
IGP Punjab also appreciated the efforts of DIG Operations Punjab, Amir Zulfiqar and the instructors for discharging their duties diligently and the hard work done by them during the training sessions.
Later, IGP distributed the appreciation certificates and cash reward among the instructors. All achievers were included, SP Haroon Rasheed from Chakwal, SP Jameel Zafar from Faisalabad, SP Maria Mahmood from Rawalpindi, DSP Shams-ud-Din from Bahawalnagar, DSP Nasar Ullah from Vehari, DSP Zia-ul-Haq from Sahiwal, DSP Ashraf Chadhar from Lahore, DSP Shafqat Rasheed from Nankana Sahib, DSP Shaukat Ali Sheikh from Special Branch and DSP Mehmood Haroon from T.T Singh.
