Lahore: Central leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N and Member National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif gave a cheque of financial assistance of Rs.10 lakh on behalf of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to the father of a twelve years old boy Muhammad Umair who was under-treatment in Agha Khan Hospital Karachi after being hit by a car.
Muhammad Umair belonged to Ahmadpur East and was injured while going to school. A report about the financial problem of the boy was telecast by a television channel and on the instructions of Hamza Shahbaz, the parents of Muhammad Umair were contacted and financial assistance of Rs. ten lakh has been given to him by Punjab government.
Speaking on the occasion, Hamza Shahbaz said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, problems of the people of all areas are being resolved and special measures are being taken in health and education sectors. He said that all out efforts are being made by the government to provide relief to the people facing problems and taking notice of accident in Ahmadpur East is a proof to this fact.
He also expressed sympathies with Muhammad Umair’s father Manzoor Hussain and assured cooperation in future as well. Manzoor Hussain told that he was facing difficulties and paying for the treatment of his son through obtaining loans. He thanked Hamza Shehbaz and Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for providing huge amount of Rs.10 lakh. Media Advisor Imran Ali Goraya was also present on the occasion. .
