The data of blind persons to be compiled within three weeks:Syed Haroon Sultan Bukhari

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Social Welfare Syed Haroon Sultan Bukhari presided over an important meeting with regard to registration of blind persons at Directorate General Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Punjab.

Secretary Social Welfare Haroon Rafiq, Director General Social Welfare Muhammad Yasrab Hinjra, Social Welfare Officers from all districts of Punjab, Director Programme, Director Planning & Evaluation, Director Administration and CEO Punjab Social Protection Authority Dr. Sohail Chaudhary and Director Programme Waqar Azeem attended the meeting.

The Provincial Minister directed all district officers to collect the data of blind persons of their respective districts within three weeks on daily basis and send to concerned authorities. He further said that all district officers should use sources like local cable, radio, newspapers and banners to ensure registration of blind persons so that maximum people could benefit at every level.
