The religious parties condemn all forms of terrorism:Deputy Chairman of the Senate

Lahore : A JUI(F) delegation, headed by Deputy Chairman of the Senate, Maulana Abdul Ghaafoor Haidari, had a meeting with the Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, at his residence on Friday and expressed its concern over the raids at mosques, madrissahs and the arrests of the Ulema and students.

Speaking on the occasion, Liaqat Baloch said that the government was trying to deviate from the religious goal of the country established in the name of Islam but the religious parties would not allow that. He said that a tiny secular lobby in the country was conspiracies against the Islamic laws and values of the country. He said the religious parties had decided to call a joint meeting on the issue.

He condemned the murderous attack at MQM leader Rashid Godel and said this was a conspiracy to distract the national action plan going against terrorism. He said the religious parties condemned all forms of terrorism and had been demanding that terrorists working under any garb and name must be crushed.
