They said this while talking to media along with Muhammad Basharat Raja, former District Nazim Major (R) Tahir Sadiq, MNA Zain Elahi and other PML leaders after expressing condolence with bereaved family of Col (R) Shuja Khanzada in Shadi Khan today.
They said that Rs 200 billion have been spent on jangla bus but are asking for donations our established Rescue 1122 Service for saving lives of lakhs of rich and poor people without any discrimination, the service has vehicles and machinery of our tenure, new vehicles and equipments have not been provided to it and this was witnessed by all in Shadi Khan, for this Punjab Home Minister remained buried under debris for hours and his nephew had to appeal to the Army Chief and the army to save their former officer while crying over inefficiency of the Punjab Govt.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that it is a matter of great concern and surprise that the Provincial Home Minister did not have security like the family of the Chief Minister what to say of the level of Shahbaz Sharif though he was on top of the hit list of terrorists. He said N-League rulers have some other priorities, if their direction is right then instead of wasteful expenditures on jangla bus and show off bridges they should modernize Rescue 1122, provide medicines in hospitals, pay due attention to safeguarding life and property of the people which is their primary responsibility, the Chief Minister has not yet visited the residence of the martyred in Shadi Khan whereas he should have reached there immediately.
The PML leaders said there is no hope that these rulers will do some right work, fingers are being raised over their performance not only in Punjab but also in whole of Pakistan but they are not ready to set their direction and priorities right.
