JI chief condoles death of Hameed Gul, Khanzada

Pic ameer jiLahore:Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has sad that the protection of the life and property of the citizens was the primary responsibility of the government but it had miserably failed in this regard. He was talking to the media during his visit to Rawalpindi and Attock where he met the sons of Lt Gen. rtd  Hameed Gul and the family members of Col rtd Shuja Khanzada, and offered his condolences to them.

Sirajul Haq said that anti state elements were out to destabilize the country and the government would have to realize its failings and remove those.

The JI chief said that Gen Hameed Gul was a hero not only for the people of Pakistan but also for the people of Afghanistan and Kashmir. Gen. Hameed Gul had play a central role in the dismemberment of the Soviet Union which would be remembered for long. He late general had foiled the war tactics of the enemy and defended Pakistan’s borders, and added that for Hameed Gul, the defense of the country’s border was also tantamount to worship. He said that the deceased’s had played a leading role in preserving the Islamic ideology of the country and had been always been in the forefront to foil the intreagues of the secular  elements in the country.

During his visit to Attock, Sirajul Haq said that the martyrdom of Shuja Khanzada was a message of life for the country and the nation. He said that Shuja Khanzada was a public figure and had been meeting the masses and sharing their worries and happiness. He stressed upon the government to unearth the killers of the deceased minister and bring them to book.

The JI chief said that the Rangers operation in Karachi had brought a major change and added that the operation could not be termed as failure on the basis of a single incident. He said that all the political parties and religious parties had given a clear mandate for uprooting terrorism and it was the government’s responsibility to implement the National Action Plan without succumbing to any pressure.

He condemned persistent and unprovoked cross border firing by Indian army and said that India wanted to plunge the whole region into war., He said that scores of Pakistani citizens had been killed in firing but the word community was completely silent and was making no move to stop these provocations.
