Punjab secretaries pay homage to martyrs of Attock terrorist attack

Punjab secretaries pay homage to martyrs of Attock terrorist attackLahore: A meeting of Secretaries Committee chaired by Punjab Chief Secretary Khizar Hayat Gondal paid homage to martyrs of Attock terrorist attack, here on Monday.

The members of committee expressed deep grief over the martyrdom of Col (r) Shuja Khanzada and others and vehemently condemned the terrorism act. They said that Col (r) Shuja Khanzada has set a precedent of valour and bravery by sacrificing his life in the war against terrorism. “He was a great, truthful and dauntless person. His valuable services in the war against terrorism will always be remembered,” they added. They mentioned that such acts of terrorism cannot shake determination of Punjab government and people. They reiterated the resolve that they would use all their energies to uproot terrorism from the country. The meeting also offered Fateha for martyrs of Attock attack.

Additional Chief Secretary Syed Mubashir Raza presented a resolution in recognition of meritorious services of Col (r) Shuja Khanzada. The meeting was attended by secretaries of Home, Finance, Information and Culture, Mines and Minerals and other departments.
