Lahore: Garden Town police have claimed to arrest three extortionist including a fake reporter of Geo news.Police have registered a case and started investigation.
According to the SHO Garden Town Sohail Iftikhar,one accused Seemab was an employee at Gardenia Hotel,Barkat Market as a waiter on 280 Rs per day.The owner of the Hotel Siyad Khan Kicked him out from the job without clearing the dues,who after failing to receive his salary,called Siyad Khan as a reporter of the Geo News and told him all the illegal and immoral activities that were being happened in the hotel and demanded a million Rs extortion to stop the story to be broadcast on the channel.
The hotel owner ,who reportedly pay the monthly to the local police ,complained the matter to SHO who made extraordinary efforts for the arrest of the accused Seemab Khan,Raja Iftikhar, mubashar and presented them as a dangerous extortionists before the media.
