Anti-dengue teams to check all offices and business centers:Mehr Ishtiaq

Lahore: Member National Assembly & Chairman Town Emergency Response Committee for Anti-dengue Mehr Ishtiaq Ahmed directed anti-dengue teams to check all offices and business centers in the limit of Samanabad Town. He said that controlling dengue his over collective responsibility, therefore, we will have to discharge this responsibility jointly.

He said this while presiding over a meeting for eradication of dengue at Samanabad, here today. Town Municipal Officer Malik Imtiaz Awan and officers of all concerned departments attended the meeting. Mehr Ishtiaq directed to further accelerate campaign against  dengue and distribute pamphlets based on information of protective measures at sops and homes.

He directed WASA officers to immediately check the leakage of water from tube-wells in the limits of Town. He directed anti-dengue teams to regularly checked graveyards and junkyards and immediately drain out the water. He stressed upon officers of education department to check the arrangements for eradication of dengue by school administration.

Mehr Ishtiaq directed PHA officials to ensure drainage of rain water with to two days. He said that in case of finding dengue larva, cases should be registered against the persons responsible under anti-dengue laws.
