A delegation of Pakistan Justice Party calls on Ch Pervaiz Elahi

Lahore: Pakistan Justice Party Chairman Malik Mansab Awan and other leaders during their meeting with Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi at his residence here today announced their full support for PML movement for construction of Kalabagh dam and joining the campaign in this regard.

Terming the tenure of Ch Parvez Elahi as a golden era, the delegation praised the measures taken by him as the Chief Minister like provision of quick and cheap justice, betterment and welfare of lawyers and poor litigants as well as lawyers by-pass and free medical checkup.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that immediate and only solution for energy and water problems is Kalabagh dam and internationally reputed experts are of considered opinion, PML is running a movement headed by Moonis Elahi for highlighting importance of this dam and to mobilize public opinion in its favour seminars are being organized at district level.

He apprised the delegation members about his launching the prosecution service and providing employment to about three thousand lawyers and performance of his established Consumer Courts for decision of disputes in three days without any fee.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that he had got a bill passed by the Punjab Assembly for provision of lawyers’ services by the State for poor and deserving people but Shahbaz Sharif govt has not given this practical shape till now.

Malik Mansab Awan said that not only for the lawyers Ch Parvez Elahi had accomplished many revolutionary and historical works including Parha Likha Punjab, Rescue 1122 Service, free medicines and free education facilities for all segments of the society particularly common and poor man.

He said N-League and Tehrik-e-Insaaf had raised the slogan for construction of Kalabagh dam but now they are diverting from it and Pakistan Muslim League is the only party which is sticking to its promise and because of this our party fully supports PML over Kalabagh dam issue.

Delegation included Ahmad Samundar Khan, Hassan Samundar Khan, Saeed Usman, Imran Hussain, Ilyas Qureshi, Ms Shabnam, Ms Azra, Ms Saira and Ms Sara among others.
