Motorways Police celebrates Independence Day with roadusers

Lahore: National Highways & Motorway Police N-5 Central celebrated Independence Day with national spirit and zeal and made extraordinary arrangements to celebrate this special Day with the road users.

On the directions of Inspector General National Highways and Motorways Police Muhammed Saleem Bhatti, N-5 Central Zone under the supervision of Zonal Commander N-5 Central, SSP Masroor Alam Kalachi celebrated Independence Day by installing special Independence Day Stalls at all the Toll Plazas and important places from Lahore to Rahim Yar Khan and distributing national flags, flowers and sweet candies among the motorist especially children.

Before, national flag was hoisted at NH&MP N-5 Central Line Headquarters by SSP Masroor Alam Kalachi. A special Prayer was made for the Pakistan & martyrs of NH&MP and bouquets and other gifts were sent to their families. SSP Masroor Alam Kalachi visited also visited NH&MP   Theme Park where the school children participated in the celebrations of Independence Day.

The NH&MP also organized a special walk in the area of Beat 12 Marka where students and people from different walks of life were the participants. Mobile Education Unit and other officers on NH&MP distributed national flags, flowers along with briefing material and pamphlets with road safety slogans.

The officers on duty were asked to render maximum helps to road users and unless there is severe violation, give maximum briefing to violators about road safety instead of issuing penalty tickets.
