Independence is a great blessing of Allah Almighty: Rana Mashud Ahmad Khan

 Lahore: Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashud Ahmad Khan has said that independence is a great blessing of Allah Almighty and we should have great regard for it. He said the real message of Independence Day is to pledge of making the country more strong. He said that Pakistan Muslim League-N under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif made defense of the country impregnable by conducting nuclear explosions and now the country will be made economically strong and independent.

He expressed these views while talking to journalists at Moon Market Gulshan-e-Ravi on the occasion of Independence Day. He also addressed five different functions of cake cutting in connection with Jashan-e-Azadi. A colorful display of fireworks, aerobatics and flotes were also held.

The Minister said that we will have to work with honesty and sincerity to cope with the challenges faced by the country. He said that PML-N government is determined to steer the country out of darkness. He said that work is continuing speedily on energy projects and expressed the hope that load-shedding will be eliminated in the end of 2017.

He said that operation Zarb-e-Azb is successfully going on against terrorism and the menace of terrorism will be completely rooted out from the country. He said that time is not far when all the problems including terrorism, unemployment and load-shedding will be overcome.

Rana Mashhood Ahmed said that the confidence of foreign investors has restored due to government steps. He said that Pak-China Economic Corridor will result in opening new vistas of economic development and job opportunities will be available. He said that not only government but every person will have to work for the progress of the country and this is the message of Independence Day.
