Lahore: MQM has resigned from National Assembly and Senate.MQM’s 24 MNA’s have tendered their resignations and verified them to speaker Ayaz Sadiq.
MQM’s 8 senators have also submitted their resigns in the Senate secretariat.
A big political crisis has emerged after the resignations of the MQM from the parliament. It could have fueled the situation in Karachi and sense of deprivation enhanced among the Mohajir Community.
MQM central leader Dr Farooq Sattar has said they tried to get justice while remain in the political system but no one cared to remove their issues.Their 40 plus workers have been killed after kidnapping,no one bothers to stop extra judicial killing,he added.
Dr Farooq Sattar said we were third largest party in Senate,fourth largest party in National Assembly and second largest party in Sindh Assembly but we could not get justice while remaining in the political system and in the Assemblies.
I wish Speaker NA could accept their resignations. But i think MQM will yet again step back.. will not like to resign from center or in Sind assembly
