MQM step down from Sindh Assembly,may resign from NA and Senate

Lahore: Muttahida Quami Movement has stepped down from Sindh Assembly in protest against Rangers Operation in Karachi,terming the operation a victimization against them.All the 51 MPAs visited Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani ‘s chamber today and submitted their resigns collectively.

The MQM’s MPAs said that they approached every public office to point out the victimization in the name of Karachi operation but neither CM Sindh nor PM Nawaz Sharif listened them for the redressal of their legitimate complaints,in these circumstances they have no other option except to resign to register their protest, MQM’s parliamentary leader Khawaja Izhar stated to the media.
