Bilal Yasin forgets to honour the position holders

Minister Food Bilal Yasin Minister Food Bilal YasinLahore: Provincial Minister for Food Bilal Yasin forget to give respect as per the Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif ‘s policy today in a ceremony organized by the Lahore board of Intermediate & Secondary Education.

The ceremony was held at Alhamra in which the honourable guests including minister for food Bilal Yasin,Parliamentary secretary Rana Arshad,MPA Mian Marghoob,MPA Majid Zahoor and others were lucky enough to have seats and on the other hand the position holders were asked to stand behind the chairs of the guest.

Earlier, while addressing the ceremony,Bilal Yasin said that educational results of Lahore Board are a clear proof to success of government policies. He said that education is the top priority of the government and it is spending 27 percent of the budget on promotion of education. He said that educated youth of Pakistan is our most precious asset and we are changing the destiny of the nation through education.

Students, their parents, staff members of Lahore Board and media representatives were present on the occasion.

He said it is determination of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif that Pakistan will be made an enlightened example of development through command over education and technology as base. That is why, provincial government is making efforts round the clock for the promotion of education.

Bilal Yasin distributed medals, certificates and cash prizes among Shafaq Zahid of District Public School who got first position by securing 1080 numbers in matric examination, Aleena of DPS School who got second position by obtaining 1079 numbers and Aera Abid of DPS and Ayesha Noor of Pak Garrison High School Nankana Sahib each who got third position by securing 1078 numbers.
Certificates and cash prizes were given to teachers of position holders.

Bilal Yasin congratulated the parents and teachers of the students and expressed the hope that these students will also work with the same spirit and hard work in coming life and bring laurels for the nation and the country. He expressed satisfaction that free education is being provided to 17 lakh students up to matric through Punjab Education Foundation and Rs. 10.5 billion have been allocated in provincial budget for this purpose.
