Lahore: Provincial Minister for Food Bilal Yasin has said that philanthropists and well-to-do people should share the joys of Eid with poor and downtrodden people. He said that it is our social and moral duty to help the needy persons.
He expressed these views while addressing a function of distributing Eid gifts among deserving persons arranged by Mian Bilu, a philanthropist and social worker and nominated chairman of union council constituency 139. Elite of the area and a large number of PML-N workers were present on the occasion.
Bilal Yasin said that every citizen will have to play his role for making Pakistan a social and economic welfare model in the real sense. He said that PML-N government has formulated policies for the welfare of the common man. He said that Mian Nawaz Sharif and Mian Shahbaz Sharif are making efforts for eliminating poverty, extremism, ignorance and terrorism from the country. He said that government is making efforts for improving living standard of the people.
