Liaqat Baloch dismay over Nawaz ,Modi meeting

Liaqat Baloch addressing an Iftar party at in Shah Latif Town, bin Qasim district KarachiLahore: Acting chief of the Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Liaqat Baloch, has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had placed national security and national interest at the back in his talks with the Indian Prime Minister Modi. He has said that any talks with India that did not give due importance to Kashmir issue and national security would be of no use. The JI acting chief was addressing an Iftar party at in Shah Latif Town, bin Qasim district Karachi.

Liaqat Baloch said that India had not accepted this country by heart and Modi in his recent visit to Bangladesh, had admitted his role in the breakup of this country. As such, nothing good could be expected from the Indian ruler.

The JI acting chief said that the people of Karachi had offered huge sacrifices for the country’s security, and they must get peace and satisfaction. He said it was high time that the problems of the port city were solved. He said that action must be taken against tyrants, criminals and mafias wherever they be.

He said that the PPP and the PML(N) had added to the problems and worries of the Karachiites by patronizing the MQM. He said that all policies and steps of the national security institutions in Karachi should enjoy the confidence of the people of the mega city.

Liaqat Baloch said that the JI was against privatization of major institutions and it would continue to raise its voice against the move. He said that imposing anti state elements on these institutions in the name of privatization was condemnable.
