DIG Ops directs Model Town ,Iqbal Town Divisions police to improve performance

Lahore: DIG Ops Dr Haider Ashraf directed Model Town and Iqbal Town Divisions police to improve their performance. He expressed his dissatisfaction upon the performance of both divisions and issued letter of displeasure to SP Iqbal Town Dr Muhammad Iqbal for his poor supervision.The DIG also warned ASP Garden Town to improve working other he would be surrendered.

While presiding over the crime meetings of Model Town and Iqbal Town divisions police here at Police Lines Qila Gujar Singh,the DIG operations Dr Haider Ashraf said 100 new vehicles have been given to police for patrolling to checking stolen bikes and cars and curbing crimes in the city,it would be a failure of police if we can not control crime despite having new vehicles, required number of force and every needful resources. Every SP,DSP and SHO will have to act his part for uprooting crimes otherwise we will not have any other choice except to change them.

The DIG expressed his dissatisfaction upon the supervision of SP Iqbal Town Dr Muhammad Iqbal,DSP Iqbal Town Rana Muhammad Shabbir,issued  show cause notice to SHO Gulshan Iqbal Muhammad Idrees Qureshi and given sentence of 2 years service forfeiture for failing to curb crimes,warning to DSP Muslim Town Abdullah Jan for flying crime of motorcycle theft in his supervisioned area,show cause notice to SHO Samanabad Ahmad Raza for failing to control crimes,direction to improve performance to SHO Nawankot Muhammad Sharif Sindhu for failing to arrest a proclaimed offender and displeasure to SHO Sherakot Hassan Raza over motorcycle theft incidents.

While chairing the crimes meeting of Model Town division,Dr Haider Ashraf gave last warning to SHO Shadman Qasim Raza,show cause notice to former SHo Ichra,lashed to DSP Ichra Zahid Mehmood,verbal stripped to DSP Gulberg Nasir Mehmood Bajwa and SHO Gulberg Zulfiqar Ali Butt over motorcycle theft incidents,Show cause notices to former SHO Ghalib Market and SHO Garden Town,show cause notice to SHO Faisal Town Waseem Akhtar for burking,warnings to DSP Model Town Hassan Aziz and SHO Model Town Rizwan Nawaz for rising numbers of bike stolen,last warning and 2 show cause notices to SHO Liaquatabad Azhar Saqib Rathore,Show cause notice ,punishment of reversion and suspension to SHO Kot Lakhpat Amir Sohail Kaifi for misconduct and burking . He also directed SHO Nishtar Colony Ehsan Ullah to improve his performance.

The DIG said that if ASP Garden Town Shazia Sarwar and DSP Nasir Bajwa failed to improve their working, they would be surrendered in next crimes meeting.

SP Model Town Mustansar Feroze ,SP Iqbal Town division Dr Muhammad Iqbal and all the DSPs,SHOs were present in the meeting.
