Construction of Kalabagh dam will be decided this year: Ch Shujaat Hussain

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain has said that only solution of electricity load-shedding is construction of Kalabagh dam decision about it will be taken this year, N-League has failed, after begging for Rescue 1122 established by Ch Parvez Elahi they are now giving hospitals on contracts also, for solving the problems of the people unity of entire opposition including all Muslim Leagues is essential.

He said this while responding to questions from the media.

He said that all small and big fish involved in corruption should be proceeded against, 150 cases in the NAB list should be decided in 12 hours after open trial and common man should also have the permission to put questions during the hearing so that this matter is closed for ever. He pointedly stated that he and earlier on in 1984 his father Ch Zahoor Elahi Shaheed had won cases against British newspapers on false allegations and had received damages whereas Nawaz Sharif had not gone to the court against BBC allegation of money laundering despite his advice, now Altaf Hussain should approach the court.

Ch Shujat Hussain said that good relations with all the neighbours particularly are Afghanistan are necessary and Pakistan should not be reluctant in taking the initiative in this regard. He said that about Indian interference in Pakistan particularly in Balochistan, our govt should formally raise this matter also in the United Nations.

Ch Shujaat Hussain said that good intentions is essential for solving the peoples’ problems, instead of putting up plaques on others place and leveling allegations against previous govts own performance should be better, preference should be given to hospitals, schools and public welfare projects instead of spending billions on jangla bus for passengers of one route only.
