Gulshan Iqbal Police killed the killer of Bank employees for immediate justice

Lahore: Gulshan Iqbal Police killed the killer Abdullah of Bank employees Nasir Tahir, Sohail Hassan and Khalid Tahir for immediate justice.

Sho Gulshan Iqbal SI Idrees Qureshi nabbed the injured Abdullah while escaping and took him to Band Road in spite of taking him to hospital and shoot him for speedy justice for victim families.Police have sent all the bodies to city morgue for autopsy and registered a case.

According to the DSP Iqbal Town Rana Shabbir Ahmad,the accused Abdullah was a cashier in Government Science College Wahdat Road,he withdrawn 2.5 millions from the bank of Punjab ,Karim Block Branch fraudulently some three weeks before.

The Bank Manager Nasir Tahir after knowing the fraud ,was demanding Abdullah to pay back the amount which he was not accepting then the bank manager warned he would go to police for recovery of the amount.

Today , Abdullah came to bank with a Kalashnikov for settling the issue and gundown three employees including the manager Nasir Tahir,Sohail Hassan,guard,Khalid Tahir whereas Sikandar,Muhammad Ahsan,Sidra and Sobia received injuries.The accused himself became injured after hitting by the guard’s bullet but he managed to escaped,later police arrested him after identification from CCTV footage.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident of firing in a bank in Allama Iqbal Town Lahore and sought a report from CCPO Lahore.

The Chief Minister expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the death of three bank employees and prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.

The Chief Minister directed police authorities to ensure special security arrangements in and outside the banks and the audit of security measures should also be conducted.
