Ch Shujat Hussain demands immediate summary trial of 150 cases put by NAB

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain has said that the Supreme Court should set up a commission for immediate summary trial of 150 cases given in the NAB List which should give its verdict in 12 hours open trial.

Responding to various questions from electronic and print media representative about list released by the NAB, Ch Shujat Hussain said that if his suggestion is implemented then this issue will end forever. He said the proposed commission should start hearing from 9 am., and its verdict given same day by 9 pm., the commission proceedings be covered live and the people should have permission to witness entire proceedings.

In reply to another question, Ch Shujat Hussain said that after filtering 150 cases given in the NAB List, serious most cases hearing be started then this matter will appreciably be resolved.

Ch Shujat Hussain said “I offer that I should be tried first, everything will become crystal clear”.
