Lahore: German Ambassador Dr. Cyril Nunn met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here today. Matters of mutual interest, bilateral relations and promotion of cooperation in various sectors were discussed during the meeting.
Talking to the German Ambassador, Shahbaz Sharif said that deep friendly relations exist between Pakistan and Germany. He said that Germany is a big trade partner of Pakistan. He stressed the need for increasing cooperation between Pakistan and Germany in trade, economic and other sectors.
The Chief Minister said that a conducive atmosphere has been created for investment in Punjab. He said that vast opportunities of investment are available in various sectors in the province. He said that German companies can benefit from the opportunities of investment in energy sector in Pakistan particularly Punjab.
Speaking on the occasion, German Ambassador said that Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is serving the masses with devotion and dedication. He vowed that the cooperation with Pakistan in economic, trade and energy sectors will be further promoted.
