Model Constitution for regulating the affairs of Regional Cricket Associations

Lahore: In order to further the objectives of promoting, organizing and developing the game of cricket in Pakistan, the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Governing Board in its 36^th Meeting held on 13^th June 2015 formulated and approved Model Constitution(s) for regulating the affairs of Clubs, District Cricket Association and Regional Cricket Associations.

The spirit of the model constitutions is to instill norms of democratic governance and to ensure the uniform application of the rule of law.

In accordance with the PCB Constitution, these model constitutions must now be adopted by all Clubs, Districts and Regions within a period of three months from communication of the same i.e. today. All model constitutions approved by the Board are now available on PCB’s Official Website i.e.www.pcb.com.pk/downloads.html . Copies can also be collected from the PCB’s Election Commission at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Pakistan Cricket Board will extend every possible support for the implementation of these documents.
