UK official visits National Hockey Stadium

Lahore: Mr Ben French, the head of UK Department of International Development (DFID) called on Director General Sports Punjab Usman Anwar at National Hockey Stadium on Thursday.

Mr Ben French discussed various sports projects during his meeting with DG SBP Usman Anwar. DG SBP Usman Anwar briefed the honourable guest about the record breaking Punjab Youth Festival, dozens of Guinness World Records and other notable achievements. The UK official was also informed about the future events scheduled to be held in near future.

The UK sports official also visited National Hockey Stadium and various departments in Sports Board Punjab and expressed his satisfaction on the facilities provided in the grand hockey stadium.
