Lahore: Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Chaudhry Barjees Tahir called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Thursday.
According to the state media,the Prime Minister congratulated him on the peaceful holding of Legislative Assembly elections in a transparent and independent manner.
He said international observers have also appreciated transparent holding of elections, for which credit goes to Governor , local administration, Pakistan Army and Judiciary as well as the people of Gilgit-Baltistan.
