Lahore: Pakistan Awami Tehreek Chairman Dr. Tahirul Qadri has said that it was shameful to note that where the prime Minister spoke about many other subjects on the floor of the House on Thursday but he forgot to respond to the confession of the Indian prime minister of committing terrorism against Pakistan and the threats the Indian minister hurled against Pakistan.
The PAT chairman said that it seems that the development projects the PM spoke about are more important for the PM and the security, integrity and respect of Pakistan are not dear to him. He said by doing so the prime minister of Pakistan has not lived by to the expectations of the people of the country.
The PAT chairman said that if All Parties Conferences can be called on small issues but this was not felt as an important issue and no APC has been called to discuss and debate the Indian threats to the motherland and neither the confession of the Indian Prime Minister.
He said the confessional statement of Indian Prime Minister against Pakistan in early seventies, is against diplomatic norms and international law which would affect efforts to bring India and Pakistan’s relation to normalization.
Dr. Tahirul Qadri said people of Pakistan believes in regional peace and does not want war, but efforts for friendship should not be taken as a weakness as our armed forces are vigilant and fully capable of responding to any adventurism and counter any aggression from our adversary.
He said that it was highly regrettable that Indian politicians not only indulge in actions that are in violation of the United Nations’ Charter but also take pride in claiming their interference in the internal affairs of other states.
