Lahore: Provincial Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that the decision regarding 10 percent increase in the salaries of Punjab government employees will be taken in the cabinet meeting to be presided over by Chief Minister Punjab on June, 12. He said that people of Gilgit-Baltistan and Mandi Bahauddin have totally rejected PTI. He said that PTI has been disappointed for taking credit of holding of peaceful elections in Gilgit-Baltistan. He said that PTI has been exposed in local bodies’ election whereas people have supported the progressive politics of PML(N).
Rana Sanaullah said that Election Commission will be requested to hold local bodies’ elections in a phased manner for effective arrangements.
Rana Sanaullah said that usually Federal government is followed with regard to the incentives given to the employees, however, cabinet will take final decision regarding 10 percent increase in the salaries of Punjab government employees.
Rana Sanaullah said that Election Commission has the power of holding local bodies’ elections in a phased manner or otherwise.He said that according to the law, government can accept or reject report of any Judicial Commission or has the power to make it public or otherwise.
Earlier, during a briefing Rana Sanaullah said that the Punjab Institute of Quran & Seerat Studies (Amendment) Ordinance, University of Jhang, University of Sahiwal, Punjab Protection of Women Against Violence and Provincial Motor Vehicle (Amendment) Bills will be presented in the session of Punjab assembly to be started from today.
