JI candidates come up to articles 62,63 : Hafiz Muhammad Idrees

Lahore: Jamaat e Islami’s deputy chief, Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, has said that the JI had put forth a clean and competent leadership to the nation and it should support the JI for building an Islamic and prosperous Pakistan. He was addressing a big gathering of JI workers attending the party’s monthly workshop at Mansoora.

Hafiz Muhammad Idrees said that the candidates fielded by the JI at all levels fulfilled the conditions  under articles 62 and 63 of the constitution and there was no black spot on their character.

He said that the JI also believed that no one holding public office was above the law, and that was why it had raised its voice against the irregularities committed by its ally PTI in the local bodies elections in Khyber P.
