Motorways police launches a special campaign against high beams lights

Lahore: Many road users on national highways still continue to install powerful headlights thereby, not only causing inconvenience to other road users but also increasing the risk of accidents said by Zonal Commander DIG Mirza Faran Baig while observing the ongoing campaign against high beams lights   .

On the direction of IG NH&MP Muhammed Saleem Bhatti  , N-5 Central have started a special campaign to check the vehicles using high beam at night on national highways.

DIG Mirza Faran Baig said that many motorists were not aware that dazzling lights and headlights in high-beam mode could cause accidents by blinding motorists in the opposite lane as well vehicles on the same lane.  He also inspected the performance of field officers regarding high beams violations and appreciated the performance of patrolling officers.
