LAHORE: Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has directed educational centers partnered under evening schooling project of Education Vouchers Scheme (EVS) to strictly follow the prescribed school timings.
In a circular issued by the PEF Director (EVS) here today, the partners are directed to follow school timings i.e., 2-00pm to 5-00pm in winter and 3-00pm to 6-00pm in the summer. Monitoring will also be held during this time.
It may be added here that evening schooling project for the house-maids, child labourers, dropouts and out of school children has been launched so that they could study free of cost up to secondary school certificate in the evening times and improve the economic prospects through education. This project is especially beneficial for the needy children who could not go to school in morning due to various reasons.
