PML-N wins the PP-196 by election contest

Lahore: PML-N have won the by election of PP-196 Multan.PML-N candidate Rana Mehmood ul Hassan led with clear majority with his opponents of PTI and PPP.According to the unofficial results of the 115 polling stations;PML-N candidate grabbed 23925 votes whereas PTI’s Rana Abdul Jabbar got 16188 votes.PPP candidate Ch Muhammad Hussain Arain remained on third position by getting 6378 votes.

The polling being held in Provincial Assembly seat of PP 196 Multan-III,the whole day with reasonably peaceful environment from 8:00 AM morning to 5:00 PM .

PML-N Candidate Rana mahmood ul hassan, PTI candidate Rana Abdul Jabbar and PPP candidate Chaudhry Muhammad Hussain Arain remained in the field and visited polling stations by themselves. There were 133 Polling Stations in this constituency.

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated the winning candidate & the party worker on overwhelming victory and said PML-N candidates victory was the clear sign that masses have fully trust upon the PML-N govt policies.

The CM Punjab claimed that people have rejected the sit-in politics by giving votes to the PML-N candidate.He vowed to continue the politics of service of the masses in the province.

It would be important to mention here that Election  Tribunal had disqualified the sitting provincial minister for prisons Ch Abdul Waheed Arain from this constituency for keeping two CNIC.
