Chairman PEF Qamar ul Islam Raja orders legal action against fraudsters

Lahore: The Chairman, Punjab Education Foundation (PEF), Engineer Qamar ul Islam Raja has ordered legal action against the private schools for willful  forgery for partnership with the Foundation.

According to details, a private school in Layyah tempered with the Roll Number slips submitted along with documents deposited along with application for partnership. The relevant record of Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) proved that forgery has been done by the school. Upon this, the partnership application was rejected while the Chairman PEF directed that legal action may be initiated after necessary verification and legal opinion to ensure complete transparency in the partnership.

Similarly, a partner school owner in Dera Ghazi Khan tried to open another partner school through his front man and fraudulently showed students of his school as students of another school. The Chairman held enquiry through a special monitor which proved the allegations as correct. Upon this, orders have been issued for initiation of legal action while cancelling the partnership of the said school.
