Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif’s 23rd annual Urs celebrations start

Lahore: 23^rd annual Urs of prominent spiritual leader and Sufi intellectual Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif started at his mazar in Miani Sahib Bahawalpur Road, here today. The Urs was started by laying wreath at the mazar. A large number of devotees participated. Former Provincial Minister Sardar Nasrullah Dareshak accompanied by President Sindh Bank Bilal Sheikh performed Rasm-e-Chadarposhi. Later, mehfil naatkhawani was held.

A seminar will be held on May 13 at Alhamra Hall No. 2 at 3:30 pm under the chairmanship of former Federal Minister Qamar-uz-Zaman Kaira in which Malik Gul Muhammad Sultan, Auria Maqbool Jan, Dr. Ajmal Niazi, Mansoor-ur-Rehman Afridi and others will throw light on the personality and teachings of Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif.
