Supreme Court restores Kh Saad by accepting his petition

Lahore: The Apex Court of Pakistan has suspended the decision of the Election Tribunal in rigging case of NA-125 after accepting the petition of former federal minister Khawaja Saad Rafique.The suspension of the Election Tribunal orders is meant that Khawaja Saad Rafique is also restored as a MNA, a constitutional expert comments upon the decision.

Khawaja Saad has pleaded that no rigging was found in the elections of NA-125 and the tribunal judge categorically mentioned in his judgement even than the tribunal ordered for fresh polls in his constituency as he observed irregularities during the elections and forensic report of the ballots.He had nothing with the irregularities of the Returning Officers  so he must not be punished for the mistakes of the ROs.
