Hamza Nasir Iqbal will be PML-Q candidate in bye-election of NA-108 Mandi Bahauddin

Hamza Nasir Iqbal will be PML-Q candidate in bye-election of NA-108 Mandi BahauddinLahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) has named Hamza Nasir Iqbal as its candidate for bye-election of NA-108 Mandi Bahauddin.

In this regard PML leaders Ch Zaheeruddin Khan and Muhammad Basharat Raja along with Riaz Asghar Chaudhry, Imtiaz Ranjha and Arif Gondal participated in the election campaign and met the elite of the area.

In the meeting of PML leaders and afterwards talking to the media Ch Zaheeruddin Khan said that not starting of Wazirabad Cardiology Hospital, Ch Parvez Elahi’s project for six districts of Gujranwala, even after completion of its building is the worst example of bad governance, “Khadam-e-A’ala” should immediately get this hospital functional instead of waiting for demise of white collared heart patients.

He said solar system is not considered feasible anywhere in the world because of its being costly but instead of Kalabagh Dam in the Punjab, solar system project is being launched at a cost of Rs 60 billion to burden exchequer of the province whereas farmers of the Punjab including Bahawalpur are =running around from door to door for payment of support price of their produce, they are being exploited, farmers have not been paid sugarcane price even after one year, if the farmers protest over it they are subjected to torture and violence.

He said the people should bring back the tenure of Ch Parvez Elahi and restart the process of progress and development in the Punjab by voting for PML candidates in the bye-election and local bodies’ polls.

Mohammad Basharat Raja said that there was only one MRI machine in three hospitals of Rawalpindi because of which people were facing lot of problems and difficulties, instead of providing essentially required machinery to the hospitals Rs 90 billion had been spent on Rawalpindi jangla bus while they have nothing to give to the people, public exchequer was being wasted on show off projects.

Riaz Asghar Chaudhry said that for securing votes the govt has provided Sui gas pipes in the area but people are only being cheated in this manner as these pipes would be removed after the bye-election.
