Air Commodore Tahir Abdul Majeed Ranjha is promoted to the rank of Air Vice Marshal

Lahore: Government of Pakistan has promoted Air Commodore Tahir Abdul Majeed Ranjha to the rank of Air Vice Marshal.

Air Vice Marshal Tahir Abdul Majeed Ranjha was commissioned in GD (P) Branch of Pakistan Air Force in November, 1985. He is a qualified Flying Instructor. During his illustrious career, he has commanded a Transport Squadron, a Flying Wing and an Operational Air Base. In his staff appointments he has served as Director of Air Transport at Air Headquarters Islamabad. He has also served as Officer Commanding JCO Academy and Airmen Management Office. Presently he is performing his duties as Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Security) at Air Headquarters Islamabad. He is a graduate of Air War College (PAF), Armed Forces War College (Turkey) and National Defence University (USA). He holds Master’s degrees in Strategic Studies, Computer Sciences and National Resource Strategy (USA). He is also a recipient of
Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) and Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military).
