The martyred cop of Lahore Police is laid to rest in his native town

Lahore: Inspector General Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera, attended the Namaz e Janazah of Shaheed constable Muhammad Younas at Police Line Qillah Gujar Singh Lahore today. CCPO Lahore, Capt ® Amin Wains, DIG Operations Lahore, Dr. Haider Ashraf, acting DIG Investigation Lahore, Muhammad Ayyaz Saleem, SP CIA Umer Virk, SP Headquarters, Lahore, Umer Saeed Malik, and all senior/ junior Officers were also attended the funeral Prayer of Shaheed Constable.

According to details, Constable Muhammad Younas was posted in Police Station Green Town investigation wing. Yesterday he conducted a raid to arrest the most wanted criminals in the area of Bagarrian Police Station Green Town.

When Constable Muhammad Younas alongwith his team reached for raid the accused opened fire on them. Resultantly he received a direct bullet on his legs and he died on the spot.

Muhammad Younas joined Punjab Police as Constable in 1990. He was residence of Madkay Dhari Wall, Kasur. Shaheed Constable left behind 02 sons and 03 daughters.
