Lahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has heartily welcomed Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to the country and said the visit would further promote the friendship and cooperation between the two states and also help solve the problems of the region.
In a statement here on Monday, Sirajul Haq said that during the last six decades, China had been a trusted friend of Pakistan at every moment and the people of Pakistan highly valued this friendship and were proud of their relationship with the great country.
The JI chief said that the citizens of Pakistan had deep love for the distinguished guest from China and his delegation and were sure that the agreements reached during this historic visit would be prove highly useful for the two countries and their people.
Meanwhile,Liaqat Baloch,secretary general JI Pakistan and Mian Aslam attended the reception in the honour of Chinese President Xi Jinping hosted by the PM Nawaz Sharif at Pm House.The JI leaders met the honourable guest and talked on the matters of mutual interest.
