Lahore: University of Education, Department of Education organized an exhibition on “Terrorism in Pakistan and its Causes” at Township Campus. B.Ed. students designed more than one hundred colorful posters and models to reflect different themes like terrorism, Peshawar incident, peace and education, religious harmony and sectarianism.
Assistant Professor Dr.Sadia Shaukat being focal person of this event highlighted the core purpose of exhibition and mentioned that terrorism is a big global challenge for stability and sovereignty of any other country. She said that thoughtful teachings of Islam guide us for establishing an ideal society on golden principles of brotherhood and interfaith harmony.
A large number of varsity teachers, students and other guests of different institutions visited the exhibition and admired the creative skills of students in strong words. Afterwards appreciation certificates were distributed among best performing students.
