Liaqat Baloch leads the membership drive in Lahore

Lahore: Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has urged upon all sections of the society, including the labourers, kisans, students and the lawyers, to unite against the oppressive forces under the banner of the JI for a peaceful, Islamic and prosperous Pakistan.

Addressing JI workers and the media while inaugurating the mass contact campaign of the party at Wahdat Colony, he said that if the masses supported the JI, it would convert their past deprivations into peace, stability and development.

Liaqat Baloch said that the rulers had always been protecting their selfish interests due to which the general public was denied the basic necessities of life.

He said the masses acknowledged the integrity, honesty and courage of the JI leadership and it was hoped that they would reject the corrupt elite in the next elections.
