Lahore: Senior journalist Asad Sahi has passed away at the age of 48 years.Inna Lilahe wa Inna Elehe Rajeune.
Asad Sahi was working with a local news channel C42 as a chief reporter.He was at his residence when he had a cardiac arrest,he was immediately taken to Omar Hospital but could not survive. He has left a widow and two sons .His funeral would be offered in his native town Daska.
Meanwhile,Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the death of Asad Sahi, a senior journalist and Chief Reporter of City 42.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister paid tributes to the services of late Asad Sahi in the field of journalism especially crime reporting. He said that Asad Sahi achieved a prominent place in journalism in a short period due to his profession abilities and his services will long be remembered. Shahbaz Sharif said that he was deeply grieved over the death of Asad Sahi. The Chief Minister prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss fortitude.
