Prof Shahid is appointed DG ASSMS

Lahore: The Punjab governor and chancellor has appointed eminent mathematician Prof Dr Shahid Saeed Siddiqui as Director General of the Government College University, Lahore Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Sciences (GCU ASSMS).

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman congratulated Prof S.S. Siddiqui on his appointment and hoped that he would play a key role in further development of the university’s doctoral school.

The Vice Chancellor also expressed gratitude to the Punjab government for its monetary grant for the school.
